    Tax Partner Barclay Rushton specializes in physician and medical practices, business valuation, tax and estate planning. He holds memberships in numerous professional
    organizations including Northeast Georgia Society of CPA’s, Georgia Society of CPA’s, American Society of CPA’s and National Association of Valuation Analysis. He is an
    avid mountain biker, cattle farmer and Civil War history buff. Active in the community, civic groups and Gainesville First United Methodist Church, Rushton leads the company with more than 25 years experience.

  2. J. Chris Hollifield, CPA
    As Audit Partner of the firm, Chris Hollifield specializes in managing audits for entities such as governments and non-profits. A University of Georgia graduate, Chris has
    served as treasurer and board member of the Gainesville Jaycees, United Way, CASA and Wauka Mountain PTO.

  3. Perry C. Barnett, CPA
    After moving his practice to Rushton & Company in 2002, Perry Barnett became Partner responsible for Business Services. He works with manufacturing and construction industries as well as specializing in tax and estate planning, business formation and succession planning. He has coached recreation soccer and basketball, and has served on the boards of North House, Inc. and Hall County Boys & Girls Clubs.
     

  4. Sally Walden-Crowe, CPA
    In 2000, the firm of Walden and Crowe merged their practice with Rushton & Company. As Senior Tax Consultant, Sally Walden-Crowe continues to manage those clients specializing in tax planning, primarily for small family-owned businesses, as well as estate work for individuals. She assists in managing and training the staff of the tax
    department. A UGA graduate, she brings over 25 years of experience in taxation to Rushton & Company.
      

  5. Gail Iverson
    Business services manager Gail Iverson reviews all compilation write-ups involving monthly, quarterly and annual clients. Her responsibilities include formatting financial statements within accounting software and implementing data processing and payroll procedure enhancements for Rushton & Company. Gail also manages and supervises the write-up and payroll staff. A Valdosta State College graduate, Gail is a certified public accountant and a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
      
  6. John Holden
    As audit manager for Rushton & Company, John Holden oversees the audit staff in all phases of audits, ensuring compliance with firm policy and generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, he plans audit and review engagements for clients. He holds a master of accountancy degree and a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Georgia. John is also a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified fraud examiner (CFE). He serves as an officer of the Northeast Georgia Society of CPAs.
     
  7. Susan Fekkers
    As Office Manager, Susan Fekkers maintains office policies, manages human resources and coordinates all advertising and career forums for Rushton & Company. She also processes accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial statements for the firm. Active in the community, Susan serves as treasurer for the Johnson High Touchdown Club and the Johnson High Takedown Club.
     
  8. Anthony Shope
    As Firm Administrator, Anthony leads all phases of administration, personnel, finances and marketing of the firm. The North Georgia College and State University graduate is a member of National Group Management Corporation and the International Accounts Payable Professionals. Anthony is treasurer of Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, a non-profit agency serving educational needs of children. He is also a youth sports coach at Mt. Vernon Elementary School and has participated with Hall County’s Partnership in Education Program and the Hall County United Way Hero Campaign.
