Sally Walden-Crowe, CPA
After working as a CPA for more than 30 years, Sally retired in 2013 but we are still taking advantage of her expertise during tax season. She is continuing to work with our clients on complex matters and reviewing returns.
Sally joined Rushton in 2000 when she merged the accounting firm she and her husband, James, operated with Rushton. She served as tax manager with the firm, reviewing returns for all tax clients and training staff members and working with clients consulting on tax and estate planning matters.
Sally is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a CPA since 1979.
A Personal Glimpse
Beyond her work as an accountant, Sally is dedicated to helping another group: the members of the First Place 4 Health class she has taught for 10 years at her church, Mossy Creek Methodist. That instruction is vitally important because it helps adherents gain control of their weight and improve their health.
Sally has volunteered on the Rape Response board off and on for 20 years and currently serves as vice president. Rape Response serves as a system of support, advocacy and education to the community and survivors of sexual assault.
To relax, Sally loves to read, as many as three to four books per week. And when she can combine her reading with a little trout fishing and camping in Georgia's mountains, she is delighted.
