Rushton & Company is one of Northeast Georgia’s largest accounting firms, representing more than 1,000 clients throughout the region. With a staff of more than 25 professionals, our firm has broad expertise ranging from standard tax planning and preparation to sophisticated management advisory services and consulting. Our size, expertise and experience have allowed us to partner with a diverse regional client base because we are able to handle the full range of accounting and business planning -- all under one roof.
OUR COMPANY PHILOSOPHY
Though we are a large local firm, we thrive on developing personal, long-term relationships with every client. That means friendly, one-on-one service that you might expect to find at a much smaller firm. We prefer working with our clients on an ongoing basis, not just during tax-filing season or for special projects. That’s because we can do our best job by getting to know our clients and the intricacies of their individual businesses.
At Rushton & Company, we do more than crunch numbers and process reports. Our firm provides real-world advice and direction to help companies build and grow. And our advice is objective – we don’t have ties to any financial products such as insurance or mutual funds – so what we provide is in the client’s best interest as we help prepare and plan for the future.

We believe in doing the best job possible to keep expenses and taxes low for our clients with the understanding that all of our financial practices and advice be fair, moral and within the letter of the law.

We also believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work, a philosophy that is reflected throughout our management and employees. Our professionals have served in a number of key civic roles throughout the region, including the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville Jaycees and Kiwanis.
