Rushton partner Perry Barnett moderated the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s annual Eggs and Issue breakfast on Dec. 14.
Barnett serves as Chairman of the Chamber’s board of directors.
The annual Eggs and Issues breakfast featured Hall County’s legislative delegation of Sens. Butch Miller and John Wilkinson, and Reps. Lee Hawkins, Matt Dubnik, Emory Dunahoo and Timothy Barr. They discussed issues and legislation coming up in the 2018 session that begins Jan. 8.
Transportation spending, teacher raises and cash for rural broadband development were the topics that Hall County’s state lawmakers said were top of the agenda for the legislative session.
