On November 27, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce took an economic development road show to Atlanta in meeting with 50 statewide economic developers. Representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Power, Electric Cities of Georgia and Georgia EMC participated in the briefing on economic development growth and opportunity in the Gainesville-Hall County Metropolitan Area. Georgia has recently been named the top state in the nation for business locations for the fifth year in a row. Gainesville-Hall County has been the top job producing metropolitan area in Georgia for the same five-year period.
