Perry Barnett, Rushton partner and Director of Business Services, was interviewed for an Accounting Today article on how smaller accounting firms should look internationally for business opportunities.
The article discussed how U.S. firms can enter the global marketplace by becoming knowledgeable in international business practices.
Rushton is a good example of this. The firm currently represents 41 international companies across 16 countries.
“Many firms may not know where to find the (international) training and referral sources,” says Barnett in the article. “International business does not have to start with working and traveling overseas. It can be as simple as looking at other companies that are in the firm’s current service niche that may have a small percentage of their business that is international.”
