Clay Pilgrim, CPA, CFE, CFF
Clay Pilgrim, CPA, is an Audit Partner in the Government Division of Rushton. Certified as a Fraud Examiner as well as in Financial Forensics, Clay oversees audits as well as performing training for government, non-profit and business clients throughout the state of Georgia.
A busy individual, Clay still finds time to devote to numerous civic endeavors like the American Red Cross where he serves as Board Development Chair for the Board of Directors of the Northeast Georgia Chapter. In addition, he is a member of the Finance Committee and Board of Directors for the Georgia Mountain Food Bank as well as the Golf Tournament Committee for United Way of White County.
At the professional level, Clay is past president of the Northeast Georgia chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). He has taught as an adjunct professor at University of North Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting. Also, he leads seminars across the state teaching audit courses and updates for government finance professionals.
A Personal Glimpse
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ga., Clay lives in north Hall County with his wife Lindsey. He and Lindsey attend the Bridge Church in Cleveland. A sports enthusiast, Clay enjoys following professional baseball, particularly his favorite team – the Atlanta Braves. And when time allows, he enjoys hitting the links for a round of golf.
