    Estate and Trust Tax Associate

    Rushton & Company is currently seeking applicants to serve a full-time salaried position as a Estate and Trust Tax Associate.  Applicants should hold a related college degree and possess at least 3 years experience in estate and trust income tax and estate transfer tax.  Experience in gift tax a plus.

    Tax Associate
    Rushton & Company is currently seeking applicants to serve a full-time salaried position as a Tax Associate. Applicants should hold a related college degree and possess at least two years experience in individual income tax preparation. Additional experience in corporate and fiduciary income tax preparation is considered a plus.

    College Internship Program
    Rushton & Company offers a College Internship Program for students seeking hands-on experience and a better understanding of career opportunities in the field of public accounting.

    Our firm offers both a summer and spring internship program, each running approximately eight to sixteen weeks in accordance with the student's semester schedule.

    Eligibility requirements for Rushton & Company's Intern program:

    1. Must be a junior or senior college student seeking a Bachelor's degree in     Accounting,
    2. Student is applying to participate in our Intern program to earn a grade and college     credit.
    3. Positive references from accounting faculty.
    4. A grade point average in good standing with the applicant's college or     university.

    Students participating in Rushton & Company's College Internship Program receive pay as well as valuable experience working across multiple departments at the firm.
    Some Intern duties and responsibilities include:

    1. Business Services - Performing data entry functions, bank reconciliations,     financial statement preparation, and assistance with payroll tax preparation.
    2. Tax - Performing data entry for individual income tax returns.
    3. Audit - Perform audit testing, and participating in discussions of audit processes     and procedures.
    4. Special Projects - Assistance in preparing PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheet     analyses, and other projects as necessary.
